Baby shoes and warty pumpkins

I love it when I have an hour or two to spare...I ventured to my favorite spots and found some really pretty trinkets. I am also starting a really fun adventure with my friend Amy tomorrow...I will tell you more about it this weekend.

I found my favorite warty pumpkin again this year....it looks super creepy but you can sure make some really good pumpkin bread. I will share seeds with anyone, just let me know.

Bippity Boppity Boo...

Ay Ay Ayyyy I am so glad this week is over! Seems there was so much to do with so little time.

I did manage to find some really cool vintage wooden mirrors...

and I almost did a back flip when I spotted this cool vintage book...I have been on the lookout for

a book to turn into a Spell & Potions book for Halloween next year and I think this might be perfect for it! I think this will be a year long project and if you have any ideas please let me know...

Kitty is tired of hanging up there...soon she will go back into hiding

Soon the green eyed Red Owl can close it's eyes...

But in the meantime.... maybe Verdita the green witch will help me with all those bippity boppity boos to put in the book.

Halloween Party...

Dumpster Diva

A day of celebration was spent antique shopping then having lunch at Thai Thai's. My friends surprised me with some pretty awesome gifts. The silver "Dumpster Diva" platter was made by my very crafty friend, Amy. I love it!!!  She knows me so well!! The Bowdabra is from Sherri. I plan to take this out tomorrow and start making some pretty bows..I can only hope my bows turn out as pretty as hers.  I had to laugh when I received my cute "Stop me before I volunteer again" napkins from Jen(she also gave me some silver earrings that I forgot to include in the pic....forgive me Jen). Hugs and kisses to my friends..I love them dearly.

I found some pretty cool finds at the antique store today but I think I will save that for tomorrow.

Nifty Thrifty Finds...

My Nifty Thrifty Tuesday goodies are these cute votive candle holders for 75 cents each. Mint shape...used them in my Witch's Hat Halloween party.
