Here is my space at

The Antique Emporium...

 It's lots of fun finding goodies for
my little space,

and I especially like

repairing, painting and mosaic-in

furniture.

The chicken wire on the wall

really helps with the smaller items.

The screen I worked on this summer...

the green potting bench sold right away.

Can you tell I really like

robins egg blue paint? LOL

Some of these goodies

came from my house,

some all the way from California.

My new venture started in

July of this year...

I needed a change and

my hubby was the one

who actually convinced me.

What a guy!

The only thing I dislike is

taking inventory of EVERYTHING...

ugh...my handwriting tends to

get really sloppy while

doing this..hehe

Football sunset in Cocoa Beach

Tonight the Rockledge Raiders

played the Cocoa Beach Minuteman...

in Cocoa Beach.

New changes...

since there was not enough  Raider JV players,

the 9th graders have been combined

with the JV...

My 9th grader is now playing

against sophomore's and juniors!!

It was hard keeping your eyes on the

game when there was a beautiful

sunset.

You didn't dare blink in case

you missed it.

Life is too short

It's been 5 days since my

friend Julies funeral and

I can't seem to shake that

melancholy feeling.

Hearing her brother talk

about her...that...he still

listens to her messages on his phone

because he misses her a lot

or

hearing her hubby talk

about loosing his wife, his

partner and the positive

comments she used to give

her children...

My emotions have been

running amock...

missing my family in MN,

missing my dear friends back in Ca,

missing friends that are no longer in my life

but especially missing two

very important men.

My dad...

and Mi Abuelito...

I came across this picture

and it reminded me so much of

him...

Life is too short

for "laters",

 they will be surprised to hear from

me more often.....

they will be surprised to hear from me after so many years.

Mosaic china

Did I ever tell you that

I love craigslist?

They have moved up on

my list,

definitely worth checking because

this morning

I came across a post from a local artist

that is selling her mosaic/stain glass supplies

because she is moving.

My stash WAS very low from

previous projects so

I quickly made an appt.

with her.

 Oh My Gosh!!!

She has a lot of everything...

bins upon bins full

of broken china, stones, shells,

marbles, mirrors, 3D objects,

sea glass... it goes on and on...

I spent 2 hours in her very organized

work area,

sorting and getting the scoop

on where she found her supplies.

Sigh...I was in heaven...

drooled over her projects...I

can see why her

mosaic art sells for bucco bucks!!

I came home with 2 bins full of

broken china...

and I can't wait to see her again!!!

Guess what I'll be doing in the next months...

Did anyone watch the Dallas Cowboys game last night...

Ugh...Please someone tell Jerry Jones that we

need a NEW quarterback...Moron...I mean Romo

sucks, is anyone else seeing this???

Every year we go through the same thing

with him...he always manages to

loose the game...on

a good note...don't you

just love to see Miles Austin run, walk or bend over...

he must be a tight end....ooops nope he's a wide reciever...haha

I still love my Cowboys!!!

Sept. 11 school essay.

My 11 year old son had to write a

 school essay on what

his parents were doing during the

Sept. 11 terrorist attacks...

It was early morning for us in

California..my hubby was getting

ready for work and just

by chance

he turned on the television.

We saw the second plane hit the

twin towers..

we were shocked...

teary eyed for all those

that lost their lives.

We will never forget and

our stories will

be passed on from

generation to generation.
