Happy 1st day of February, a month with hearts and roses, candy shaped boxes filled with sinful goodies. Candle light dinners shared with a loved one...maybe a little trinket tucked away in a small box? My hubby and I have been sharing our Valentines Day with our children ever since they were born. Now that they are older, 9 and 12 years old I'd like to think that they appreciate that special dinner made with love, candlelights twinkling with some soft background music. Now mind you...I live in a household of 2 boys and 1 man so who knows where the conversation will lead to but I know for sure there will be laughter and giggles. How do you celebrate your Valentines?
Hugs...Sylvia
PS..the last picture is my lady slipper orchid in full bloom, did not mind the cold freezing weather from a couple of weeks ago.

Hello Sylvia... such pretty photos... oooh, I love Lady's Slippers... I have a photo of them posted on my sidebar!... love to you... xoxo Jule Marie
I wish that I could say that we do something wonderful for Valentines day, but we usually just go out to dinner and exchange cards. Nothing too special. Maybe that's what happens after 30plus years. :)
I'm inspired to have a nice family dinner because of this post.
Thanks Sylvia!

Hi Sylvia,
Celebrating Valentines Day with your entire family is so wonderful and special. You are raising two little boys who will, no doubt, be gentlemen and romantics.
My husband and I always give cards to one another and he always gives me a small gift or flowers.
hugs
Sissie
Oh thank you for reminding me that I need to get out my heart shaped cookie cutters. Your photos are beautiful.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Blessings,
Marcia
