Our family day was spent at Blue Springs swimming and tubing down the waterway. The weather was stinking hot...90+ degrees with high humidity so the 73 degree water was perfect to be in. No...we did NOT see any gators or manatees but we did see some pretty big fish since the water is crystal clear. We then had a nice picnic by the campground. We were supposed to camp overnight but we all agreed that we wanted to sleep in our own beds with the a/c on. Lesson learned...don't camp in Florida summer weather!!!

Looks like a fun relaxing day. Nice blue toes!
Looks like everyone had lots of fun. Thank goodness for air conditioning. It's so hot hear and the humidity is so high that being outside is no fun at all.
Love the blue toes!

Were the nails painted blue before or after you decided to go to Blue Springs?
When my mother was growing up her family, along with a couple of other families from her small town, used to go to Salt Springs most every summer. When I was little and still lived in Ocala, we turned blue every few days at Silver Springs. Those were many years ago, and at that time Silver Springs was the local swimming hole. They had a large dock near one of the boils, and all the kids loved to swim out to the dock and hang out there.
