I have to share my newly acquired

My friend Amy presented

me this beautiful gift

for my birthday.

Ironstone...it's heavy and Gorgeous!!!

Flea market goodies

It was cloudy and breezy,

another perfect day for the flea market.

This garden wheel barrel was too cute

to pass up!

yiiihaaaa...found another fan but this

one is BIG!

 Hubby will have

to re-wire it and do you

think I should remove the rust spots?

The cardboard Chinese checkers board game

was another great find. And it's

in good condition too!

I bought this wine bottle

holder for the texture,

it looks like snake skin! lol

This chippy framed painting is on canvas,

she looks like a cherub don't

you think?

It's signed in the lower right hand

corner so I will have to research it.

This is the second signed Arthur Court piece I have

found this year.

It's bunnies playing on cabbage leaves.

A Royal Copley vase...a bright and colorful piece too!

This one is a keeper and going

into my collection.

And who can pass up cute baby shoes?

Most of these treasures will end up in my Emporium space...

End of the day purchase

Thank you for

those that came

to the estate sale,

I know some of you

bought lots of goodies!

This was my end of the day

purchase. A 40+ year old Persian rug...

is it called that?

Made in Iran, extremely

heavy and the coloring

is beautiful!

It does need cleaning...

see all those folds?

It's a large one so

there is no room for wishy washy

decisions!!

Hopefully I can find cleaning suggestions on google.

Sigh....I love this time of year, the days and evenings

are much cooler...

my bromeliads are in full bloom,

and we have the prettiest sounding

birds singing during dusk!

Our next estate sale is next week in Viera,

I've heard it's a girly one...

It's my dear hubby John,

a man I married 23 years ago,

who makes me realize... not to

sweat the small things.

Who makes me laugh at myself

when I do or say dumb things.

A man that loves his boys dearly,

especially during 4th of July!

haha...they were looking at a firework that

was NOT supposed to go over in the woods.

A man that kicks his heels up

and has plain fun with

his family.

Oh Gosh....

did I tell you how much eye

candy is at the estate

sale that I'm working at?

A pair of Lustre lamps

caught my eye...

and I think they noticed it too...

gulp...

 they kept whispering...syyyyylviaaaa..in a very

soft magical voice...

I kept shushing them...

but they just didn't listen.

so now they sit happily

in my house.

 Sandi the previous owner said...

 that she remembers the lamps sitting

in her grandmothers house.
