Birdbath

I finally found a birdbath thru
craigslist...a bit small
but it will do for now...

I added the pot on top to give
it more appeal...
Still on the lookout for that
special one...

My sunflower is so top heavy
that its drooping...

but she's still so pretty.

I am linking up to Kathleen from Faded Charm White Wednesday...

Iron finds

Look what I found....

Iron trellis's...at least
that's what I am calling them...lol

a bit rusty, some cleaning needed.
They might go inside on a wall or
somewhere in the garden.
I love finds like these.

The tool box I bought from Susie sits on my table
filled with some of my favorite plates.

Today was the last day of school...
Woooo Hooooo...

Boots in the garden

I am having SO much
fun doing container
gardens.
This iron piece did not stand
a chance...I stuffed
a plant inside and now
it looks so much better.

The iron bird fits perfectly inside.

A pair of garden boots that I never used.

I even cut a small hole
by the toe area for an airplant...

cute huh?

Have a great weekend...

Toolbox, bottles and jar

I was on the hunt for more garden junk
and some pretties to place in my
garden window.

This cool toolbox I bought from a friend,
it will sit on my table until....

the sconce I love, love, love. It does
need re-wiring though.

The wooden Jerusalem box will
be for my mom...the craftmanship
 is amazing!!

I don't care for the picture but love the frame. The ugly
lampshade was bought for the wire frame only.
And of course, the wooden
drawer will be for my
little jewelry trinkets.

It even has the handle...

I ablsolutely love these bottles.
The four are amethyst

and

the one on the left has a real pretty light
turquoise color.
Too bad they only had one.

They sit in my garden window as I type this,
I tried to take a picture but it's just too
darn bright.

I am liking up to Leigh's

2 days of school left...wooooo hoooo!!!!!
I don't know who's more excited me or my boys...hahahaha

camera was taking pictures
on its own!

I looked at her trinkets and
and said to myself..

bought that chalkboard
awhile back!!! LOL

This would look sooo good in my house too...
S is for Sylvia oops....Shelley

Who needs a magazine in here!!
There are so many pretty things to look at...

She decorates with lots of vintage
frames...

a picture for my friend who someday
plans on having a fireplace.

Where do I find one of those little box springs?...
it's super cute!

I drooled over this wall...are you drooling too?

This is where we had some yummy

Flowers and a Cat

A stroll through the
butterfly garden...

this is a white thunbergia vine?

I don't remember the name of this vine
but she sure is a beauty...

I was pulling weeds off the
dutchmans pipe vine and
look what I found...
I think it's a swallowtail caterpillar
about to munch of the pipevine...
eat away little buddy!

I have something very exciting to tell you
but not till tomorrow...so excited that
I don't think I will be able to sleep!!!

Cya tomorrow...

old white chippy

in our Florida weather...
Those are love bugs you see...they
are everywhere at this time...thank God for
our screened in porch!!!

Curbside finds

Some curb finds from
years past...

A galvanized tub turned
into a water garden, sewing bench
and a cute bird cage.
I love to put all this
stuff in the garden,
it adds personality
and a bit of fun.

White elephant sale

My church had a white elephant
yard sale last week and as I was on my way out
I noticed this beautiful rose picture.

Double my excitement when I noticed the
frame in good shape.

This hand blown glass vase was at the TS
for several months and it finally came home with me.
I just love the greens and pinks swirls.

I am linking up to Cindy's My Romantic Home Show and Tell Friday..
lets go take a look.

Have a great week,

Thrifty finds...

Found objects alongside
the curb last week
included this 7 ft ladder...

I love to paint wooden ladders
bright red and place them
in the garden as an ornamental...
I'd like to think the
red attracts the hummingbirds
and butterflies.

Can you believe this was also
a curbside find?...someone in my
neighborhood was moving out and were taking
their stuff and placing along the
curb!!!

This hand blown glass vase was a thrift find...
it's going to be a little
greenhouse

This cute little black table
with marble top and iron
wall hanger were thrift finds.
I tell you...if you are ever in my area
you must visit The Sharing Center...
good prices and ALWAYS something
different!!!

A quick road trip to the flea market yesterday
was so worth it!!!
I was lucky enough to find 2 galvanized watering cans
and a cute wooden box.

I am off to spray more red paint on the ladder...

Come join me...

Have a great week,
Sylvia
