Garden/Pond tour, Part One

My dh and I went to a pond/garden tour

this morning in Merritt Island.

These beautiful gardens

belong to Kim.

Kim has spent a lot of work

designing her garden

vignettes, we heard

her say that it takes her

3 hours to water!!!!

I love this cool pot...

and this one too!!

Blue glazed pots everywhere...

This is the entrance to her veggie

garden....

My Flea Finds

Have I ever told you that I love

Wednesdays?

Yep, it's my favorite day of the week,

you see....I get up early and

venture to our local flea markets.

I find cool stuff like this...

2 Coke crates in yellow, vintage books,

vintage linen, vintage gloves and

a carved handle broom.

Oh and I was also looking for a large

size rug and found

this cool faded a bit dirty

rag rug...

Isn't the heart shaped rock pretty cool?

Happy Memorial Day!

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY...

Our City of Rockledge had the first annual

Memorials Day parade...

neighbors from around our

neighborhood gathered to honor

our troops of past and present.

Birdbath

I finally found a birdbath thru

craigslist...a bit small

but it will do for now...

I added the pot on top to give

it more appeal...

Still on the lookout for that

special one...

My sunflower is so top heavy

that its drooping...

but she's still so pretty.

Iron finds

Look what I found....

Iron trellis's...at least

that's what I am calling them...lol

a bit rusty, some cleaning needed.

They might go inside on a wall or

somewhere in the garden.

I love finds like these.

The tool box I bought from Susie sits on my table

filled with some of my favorite plates.

Today was the last day of school...

Sunflowers

My seedlings have grown...

Sunflowers in Florida...I never knew...

It's been so much fun watching

them grow...

and grow..

Boots in the garden

I am having SO much

fun doing container

gardens.

This iron piece did not stand

a chance...I stuffed

a plant inside and now

it looks so much better.

The iron bird fits perfectly inside.

A pair of garden boots that I never used.

I even cut a small hole

by the toe area for an airplant...

cute huh?
