I was given a basket full of sea shells, they belonged to a dear lady named Erma. Erma passed away last month and her sea shells is all I have from her...to remember the laughter we shared I created this shell mirror without even checking to see if I had enough sea shells...hahaha. Luckily my dear friend Amy had given me a jar full of Sanibel Island shells and I was able to incorporate them in the mirror. Erma was a funny lady...always made you laugh with her quircky comments. I do miss her.
This was today's find at Goodwill for only $5.00...love, love, love it!!
I am hooking up to Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays with Linda at Coastal Charm...check out her blog...its full of eye candy!!!
Hugs...Sylvia

Ok, you know that gumball machine would look way better in my house! LOL. The mirror turned out very nice.
Sylvia amor, what a beautiful mirror you made with your gift from your lovely friend...everytime you look at it, you will SMILE :) I love your gumball machine, I mean to paint one of my cream and antique it and the other one really pale pink...thinking of filling them both with Strawbursts tropical flavor jellybeans...cause a girl can never have too many of those or tootsie rolls :) Besos, Rose
