Plants in rusty stand

Break time from the garden paths...

Today,
I took my two old rusty fish tank stands
along with
some chicken wire and wire cutters
and lined and weaved

the chicken wire to make a wire basket.
I encourage you to use gloves
as this was a painful process without them..hahaha

Then I used some burlap bags I had laying around
and a coconut fiber liner and placed
them inside to hold
the soil and plants.

A quick visit to Rockledge Gardens
for some cinnamon basil, lavender
and violets.

I placed the stand by the
back door so

that we can enjoy the bees
and butterflies from the
back porch.

I am off to finish the second stand...

I am linking up to Linda's Nifty Thrifty Tuesday...
check it out.

Have a great Sunday...
Sylvia

Wow - one of THE most creative posts I have seen :) - Fish tank stands, chicken wire, burlap (I so love burlap), add plants you love.... Priceless! Great job here!
