The day was beautiful at Mt. Dora, we did get some sprinkles but not enough to take cover. My friends Amy, Dina and I decided to start at the hill first where most of the junky stuff is along with the fruits and plants. It seems that we spent most of our time there, we bought lace, keys, postcards, jewelry and baby shoes. By the time we were done with that area we didnt have much $$ left for the BIG part of the flea market. It's ok though because we had decided earlier in the week that we were only going to hunt for small little trinkets, nothing big this time. I was looking for the frozen charlottes and a vintage dress form. As you can see I came close to a frozen charlotte (with pink hair) but no luck on the dress form. Maybe next time. So sit back and enjoy the pictures....BTW...the last 4 or so pictures is what I bought plus the doilies in the background.
Hi Sylvia, this flea looks fabulous, I would have run thru it like a crazy woman. So much great stuff. Oh that pink tufted settee is fabulous! and the frozen charlotte with the pink hair...so darn cute. Glad you had a great day! hugs' Debra
You just dont get markets like this where i am in the UK, but it's just as well as i'd of gone home with several of the pieces just from your photos and been very poor lol
Oh my I would have bought it all and I may after I win the lottery:) I am in Florida too and I went to Mount Dora last November. I loved it but it is quite a long drive for me.

I would have spent lots of money here!
I love the pink stove! I would have to remodel to get it to fit in my matchbox-like kitchen, but it might just be worth it!
