Different shades of blues and greens

My friends and I went to

a very jammed packed Estate Sale

yesterday!

Found this vibrant green bottle with

a really cool lid...

 Love, love this aqua colored demijohn(?)

Lots of jars and a cute

shabby light green table. 

 Couldn't pass up this iron cutie!

Sweet corbels!!...should I paint them?

Those round tin things are

music boxes...you lift the top lid

to store jewelry.

The rest...blue metal insurance box, white doorknobs

and cute blue basket!

Chippy blue box...love!!

Love all the different shades of green and blues!

PINK sewing machine

Are you as excited over this PINK sewing machine as I am?

I bought it with the intention of selling it but.......

lol

It's either from 1956 or 1957...have to research more.

Perfect for a craft room!!

 I bought the mannequin man for

a friend but she didn't want it

so it will end up at The Emporium this

afternoon.

Pretty colorful creamers and

some really cool shoes.

 I have a collection of these cuties.

One of them is marked Germany.

A perfect picnic basket...too

dang cute and in great shape to

pass up.

Mosaic birdbath

I found this cute table top birdbath

and knew I had to mosaic it.

I'm thinking I should have

added pieces to the base too.

Oh well...next time!

Heart shaped bird cage find!!!

It was a good day at

the flea today.

Love this three legged ~three tiered

table lamp. It does need some

TLC but still a great find..oh

and it works too!!

What do you think of the green color

on the iron shelf?

I would never have picked that color but

I might now...it's cute!

Super cute hand made mosaic birdhouse.

This is a keeper...a heavy iron

heart shaped bird cage.

As you can tell the Shepherd's hook

is not sturdy enough for it.

It will have to hang under one of

the Oaks.

The Germany majolica piece is also a keeper but

the rest you will see at The Emporium.

Mod Podge and Thrift Finds

My errands took me to a part of town

I don't normally frequent.

And since I was already there

why not stop at the thrift stores.

A poodle cookie jar was a great find!

Love her expression...haha

I don't normally come across Diego Rivera

prints but when I do they come home with me.

This will be added to my collection.

 

I had a heck of time carrying this cement (?)

wall pocket...

 

It will be painted with white

and gray gesso...

 

Another heavy cement piece...

Gesso for sure!!!

I used ASCP Old White along with

white and dark wax.

 

Then I Mod Podged a

vintage FL map and FL postcards

on the top.

I went ahead and ordered a piece

of glass to protect the top.

It should be at The Emporium by

tomorrow afternoon!

Great flea finds

Even though I didn't spend

much time at the flea this week

I still managed to find some

great stuff!

in great condition!

of color...reminds me to start sowing

sunflower seeds.

A vintage turquoise sewing box

these are big sellers for me.
