FIRST DAY OF THE YEAR...

HAPPY 2010 EVERYONE....How did you spend the first day of the year? My day was an all day pajama day, eating leftovers and working with my 9 year old on his "Young Author Book". He did something very creative with the front and back cover! We will show pictures tomorrow when he is FINALLY done. I have been thinking all day on my NewYear's Resolutions, what do I want to accomplish this year? Will I stick to them? Will I loose my focus later in the year as life gets hectic and chaotic? Will I slow down and remember my promises to myself, my resolutions? Soooo with that in mind...I have decided to put my wishes, my resolutions down on paper. I have glued them onto green ribbon and embellished a bit. I visited the Graphics Fairy (Karen never lets me down) and found this beautiful victorian calendar, embellished with a key and attached it to a clear jar with NO lid. Why no lid you ask? Because when I am overwhelmed and hurried I can reach into my resolution jar and pull out a reminder of what I wanted for myself at the beginning of 2010. I hold the key to my everyday life.......once my MY wishes are set I will place them in jar.
Hugs...Sylvia
