Tall Mom on the Run....80 Mile Challenge...in the month of August.
You can either walk, jog or run. From August 2 ~ Sept. 2nd.
•80 miles/ 4 weeks= 20 miles per week
•20 miles a week/ 7 days a week= 2.85 miles per day
I've been thinking of doing the Pumpkin in the Park 5k this October and what a great way to train..The Tall Mom way...anyone want to join? I am off to remove some clothes (remember I'm in Florida) and put my tennis on. Catcha later...Sylvia
A couple of hours later...
While my boys were at Football practice I trekked on over to the park and walked and jogged for 3.75 miles. Whewww....am I out of shape!!! It's been 3 years since I've challenged myself and let me tell you..it's not the legs or the breathing that slowed me down...it was my BRAIN! I guess I have to re-train my whole self all over again. But YEAAAAA...I did do 3.75 miles...yeaaaa for me. Hubby is joining me tomorrow.
