Have you ever had one of those mornings when you are in bed half awake and half asleep? Your brain is already planning what you have to do for the day? I woke up at 5 a.m. this morning! That is not normal for me, I love to sleep in!!! But I knew in the back of my mind what I wanted to accomplish today so I was an early riser...It's been a quiet peaceful morning, I have cleaned my kitchen, started laundry and orgazined and put things away while humming with the Christmas music in the background. My sons study area (mid-term exams coming up) is clean and comfy. It feels good to have this done, it's been a busy week for me...I chaperoned my 7th graders NASA Blast field trip (yep, my son said it was ok for me go to..hahahaha), which I will post photos later. I baked a cake for him too, he shaped it in the form of a cell and decorated with candy. I think more candy went in his belly than on the cake...hahaha          We are so behind in decorating for Christmas this year, we are not even sure if my hubby will string lights outside since he is so busy with the bathroom re-do.  Well since my previous Christmas post was on vintage toys, I went ahead and stayed with the childrens theme and did the candy decorating theme. I dont have much vintage candy decorations so I used some gummy bears, lemon drops and jelly bellies...Don't forget that today is the last day to sign up for my GIVEAWAY...I will be drawing a name tomorrow afternoon and let you know who the lucky winner is. Thank you all for the nice comments and being a follower, it means a lot to me!!    BTW.... the first picture of the sun above the clouds was taken by my son on the way to school, we have the prettiest views on the way there.   Have a great weekend!!!
