Secret Garden is DONE!!!

Do you remember the before pictures of my side yard? Ugly huh? It's taken me 6 years to get my secret garden dream completed.....it was fun while doing it, learned lots along the way and I did not encounter one snake while working around the A/C unit...hahaha.  My right hand is still recoving from grouting the stepping stones but I sure had fun doing them! I didn't use edging on the right hand side just installed some iron chippy white fencing that I had. I also had a small metal trellis and decided to glue some blue willow plates to cover that ugly silver post. The plants in the gray pots are Boston Ferns, they are still recovering from our frost....they should look pretty by the entrance.   I still need to install the finials above the posts and so some teeny tiny work...hahaha. Hopefully once the plants are bigger and more established it won't look so bare.  Ohhhh and in case your wondering why I didn't cover up the a/c....it's an old a/c...didn't want to mess or plant anything near that baby just in case.....

Thank you for alll your kind and encouraging words, knowing that someone out there was listening made it all worthwhile.
Hugs....Sylvia

P.S....I have linked up to Show and Tell Friday through My Romantic Home...check it out.
P.S.S.....I have also linked up to Tootsie's Fertilizer Friday....lots of pretty plants to see.

What a lovely garden space. The work on the tile would have cost a fortune if you had to pay. Nice garden to sit and have a quiet moment!

Absolutely Awesome! I know that was hard work! I love your idea of the plates on the trellis to hide uglies. That was CLEVER! I can't wait to see it later in the season. I posted some landscaping on my post, too. Have a wonderful Easter.
