I'm not even Irish! But the last few days have been my LUCKY days! Over the weekend my very artistic friend Dina called and said she had found a cute mirror for me (I love old mirrors), she would give it to me on Monday. That got my blood pumping, wondering what it looked like... I almost grabbed my keys and headed over to her house..hahaha THEN...when I saw her yesterday she presented me with yet another gift. I guess over our rainy days last week, Dina decided to play around with altered art for the first time and she created some beautiful work! She made this picture for me with a lovely saying from Hans Christian Anderson. I love that she incorporated the friendship and garden theme together plus I got a kick out off the curly hair too..hahahaha OK...so you think that's the end of her generous gift giving? No way.....hahahaha...on her way to school she spied two heart shaped parlor iron chairs by the curb and called me to see if I was interested. Heck yea, told her to grab them. Soooo today...hahahaha....she gave me one of the chairs for my secret garden. Am I lucky to have her in my life....YES...I would even say I am blessed. Besides...she sings a mean "My bologna has a first name"....hahahahaha....yea...we sing those corny songs from the past....hahahahah Thanks Dina for all my gifts...you are the best!
The green pot was also found yesterday on one of my adventures....not sure if it's Weller since it's unmarked but I love it anyways. Ohhh and as I was moving things around trying to get the pictures taken I accidently broke the mirror so all I have is the pretty frame! I know....I know....so if anyone knows of a dance to ward off 7 years of bad luck Pleaaassseeee send me a note....hhahahaah
Hugs...Sylvia
