On my way home from dropping the boys off at school I took a teeny tiny detour to one of my favorite thrift stores and look what I found!!!!! A BIG jar of old buttons for $8.00. I grabbed the sucker right away and strolled around like it was no big deal...hahaha....but my mind was going crazy with excitement...hahaha....then I spied this cute vintage tin. I don't collect tins but my frined Amy does....do you think she'll like it? Amy, if you see this, leave me a comment and the tin is yours...hehehe.
This $5.00 pearl bracelet came home with me with the intention of taking it apart and re-using the toggle for something else but I don't knowwwww.....I like the way it looks around my wrist...maybe with a pretty lace blouse or denim jacket?
It seems my two friends Dina and Amy had the same idea of thrifting this morning, I can't wait for show and tell tomorrow!!!!
I am soooo excited....I just found Linda's Coastal Charm's Nifty Thrifty Tuesday...what a perfect post for a perfect blog...I am off to see more...
Hugs...Sylvia

I am so excited that you got that jar of buttons!!! I love them. I want them! That tin is also adorable.
Love the buttons. I always thoughts they make cool displays..., but then of course I'd choose shells instead! Love your mosaic stepping stones your making!!! Those are going to look awesome!
Nice jar of buttons. I bet your mind was going all sorts of ways with buttons in hand. Love the bracelet too and I like the way it looks on your wrist. When can I go to the thrift store with you? heehee. I love thrift stores - you always come out with little inexpensive items and a lot of them for the little money you spend.
I so love your blog and will be back often to visit.
What a cute bucket! Love it! It is so much fun when you find treasures!
Hi Sylvia, Such wonderful trinkets. I adore the buttons. Vintage buttons are one of my many collections. I use them in most of my crafting projects and the bracelet is beautiful just the way it is. Thank you for visiting my Thrifty Tuesday post and happy thrifting.
Rebecca

What more could a girl ask for but a jar of buttons and a pretty pearl bracelet. I think you should keep that bracelet in tact,
it's too pretty to take apart.

Those buttons were a great find! Buttons are just not made the same these days! The tin that they were in is so cute, too!
By the way, I think a oil rubbed bronze would be perfect for a chandelier! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
