Mosaic Table

I have a habit of buying small pieces of
furniture that are in dire need of
TLC!!!  That is not good...
because I keep adding projects
to my plate.

Would you buy this at a thrift store?
I have sucker written on my forehead...haha

"Oh yea...I can repair this, it shouldn't take that
much of my time"...again, no friends with me to
hit me on the head and say ARE YOU CRAZY?

After several weeks of repair, painting,
mosaic work, fixing paint chips..and not to
mention fighting the Florida heat and humidity
It's done!!

It's being dropped of TODAY at the Antiques Emporium,
it's been hanging around here for waaaayyy dang long!

I wish I could remember the name of the paint colors.
They were Lowe's Valspar samples of a Turquoise color and dry brushed
with a grey color. Then I polished it with Minwax Paste finishing wax in a
natural color.
Have any of you found the Minwax Paste dark finishing wax? I've been to several
stores around here and NADA...

gulp...I am linking up to Miss Mustard Seeds Furniture
Feature Friday and Favorites. I am not as crafty
as those ladies there but what the heck...it'll be fun.

And

Debra over at Common Ground for Vintage Inspiration Friday

And also
My Romantic Home Show and Tell Friday
Will you come with me?

What is my next project?
Let me go check my porch area and see what
I have...hahaha

Love the mosaic! Sucker on your forehead? Nonsense.... if that was the case I'd have it stamped all over my bod, and you would have got into a battle at the thrifty for it cuz *I* would have loved it too- such as it was.

Here, here! Nice job!

I would have totally bought this great piece too! I love what you did with it--great color and the mosaic is gorgeous and unique. I have not been able to find the Minwax dark stain anywhere but online at Home Depot. Great job!

OMG we both posted about mosaics, whats the chance of that? You already do such a fabulous job, you will love the glass cutters. I have no idea how you do it without? I would have definitely bought this table before, I love the little ledge in the back.
