Today is my first Vintage Christmas Monday post and to tell you the truth, I dont know if what I am posting is considered Christmas. I use it every Christmas year to decorate the outside of my house. (It's not often you see a sled as a decoration in tropical Florida.) So please forgive if it's not the correct decoration...besides all my Christmas items are still up in the attic. I am hoping my hubby will bring all that down this weekend.
Okay...I am off to Joan's Anything Goes Here blog to check out all the other Vintage Christmas decorations....wanna come along with me?

Oh I love your sled!!! It reminds me of the one I used with my sisters when we would go sledding in the snow as a child except the blue part was painted red...such wonderful memories. Thanks for bringing those back to me!

Reminds me of Christmas. I use to have the same problem at out previous home. Had to wait for hubby to bring down the Christmas decor from the attic. Now we have a storage room in our basement but it means I do all the carrying now.

What I wouldn't give to live somewhere where I could sled with one of those gorgeous antique sleds. Very nice.

And yes, I collect crosses year round. Everytime Michael and I go out of town we buy one.

Hi Sylvia, I love your sled. It's a perfect Christmas decoration and it sure looks vintage to me. I don't think I've ever been on a real sled, just the round plastic discs or inner tubes ~ a bit hard to control!

Enjoyed browsing throught the antique faire. Great stuff there!
Hugs,
Dawn

Hi Sylvia!
Your vintage sled is gorgeous...reminds me of all the winter fun we had as kids. I was never cold then, even after hours of outdoor play.
Snow is pretty, but I'd much rather see sand :+) You're lucky to live in sunny Florida!
Come visit anytime~
